Normally, fam fams go to see movies in an igloo, since the Stage was removed. Movies are a time for the fam fam to kick back and relax, but movies need specific ratings.

Movie ratings[]

These are the ratings families may use.

American ratings:[]

Rating Meaning
G All ages including newborn, although some newborns won't enjoy the loud sounds and crowds.
PG For pookies, but parental guidance is recommended.
PG-13 For 13 and up. Parental Guidance is highly recommended for children under the age of 13.
R Restricted to penguins aged 18 and over. No rental or purchase by those under 18. Contains content not suitable for minors.
NC-17 Despite this rating is extremely uncommon nowadays, it can still be seen. No one under 17 is admitted.
18+ Only people over 18 can watch these. Mumus, duhduhs and older biggies may watch these late at night when younger children are asleep or away (see NC-17). Younger children aged 15-17 can watch them, but someone like a parent, older sibling or trusted guardian has to sit with the child and see if it is acceptable.

If you would like your pookie to watch a PG-13 movie, make sure they are not scared easily and will not get nightmares (for example, PG-13 movies with swearing, but have an appropriate plot, like the real-life movie "Pitch Perfect").

Types of movies[]

The ideal kinds of movies for pookies are cartoons (Bunny Barn, Teddy Town etc) or live action yet-pookie friendly movies. Older pookies and younger middles may watch things like Star Wars, Pitch Perfect, Suicide Squad or Home Alone if they are comfortable watching it. As said above, never take pookies to see any restricted films, as they are highly inappropriate.
